So... the last couple of months has seen people either being booted out or quiting media houses... Well... DNG has joined the band wagon.
How it all went down... So on Wednesday he had requested he wanted to attend a wedding in Kisumu over the weekend (Like for real... whose now)... so upon approaching Management. He was shocked when they said, "NO!" Just when we thought the stew was getting thicker in the POT, management found out he was actually lined up to be a MAIN ACT in the Kisumu Live Concert. Meaning the wedding storo was a complete LIE (wolololoo).
Management were NOT taking this lightly and went on to email him calling him a NOTORIOUS (avoiding vulgar terminology used) liar and saying his job at KISS came first and he could only attend after his show.
DNG... just got fed up and pulled out the BIG GUNS.. he QUIT! And within a couple of minutes calls were bombarding his phone to pick up his things... WOAH!
I sure hope he made it to the concert on Sato because... after that its back to Square ZERO!
Upon being contacted about the situation this is what Caroline Mutoko of KISS could say,
"DNG is young, he’s a good guy and he will be missed. We wish him well and after all this is Kiss, the door is never closed but we are always on the look-out for new People. Every time there is a transition out of the business we are faced with an opportunity to re-energize the station and the brand and I would like anyone who believes they have something fresh and different to offer the audiences we seek to service, to contact us"
Wait, Is it just me or does it look like she is outright advertising his job to anyone who can match-up or beat his talent! woishe... DNG. All the best!
