UoN STUDENTS PROTEST ADARI'S DEATH AND VANDALIZE PSYS WESTIE!

University of Nairobi Engineering students are currently demonstrating in  Nairobi's Westlands area, where their colleague had earlier been battered and later died by watchmen at Unga house last weekend.
The students are said to be looting shops and attacking motorists with stones as they made a grand march starting from Chiromo road, onto Waiyaki way and finally to the club in Westlands.
They are said to have shattered
the clubs windows with stones and they also lite a bonfire right outside the club..

They demanded to speak to the club manager who had reportedly sneaked away after he got wind of the rioting.
Overpowered, anti-riot police  watched from a distance as the over 800 students vented their anger.
The police had escorted the students in what was supoposed to be a peaceful demonstration.
The students later poured onto Waiyaki way as they made their way back to the university.
The ill-fated student, Dennis Omondi Adari, was assaulted over a week ago when he differed with guards and bouncers Unga House. Reportedly two guards beat him unconscious after he tried to gain entry through a window into the club after bouncers denied him entry.
He died six days later while undergoing treatment in hospital.
